Hours of operation for the upcoming holiday season
The Library will be closed from December 24, 2011, to January 1, 2012. In addition, we would like to call the attention of our patrons to the following information regarding the hours of operation for the upcoming holiday season.
On December 23, 2011, the Library’s Main Reading Room is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Archives of the Academy and the Special Collections close at 1:30 p.m.
January 2, 2012, is the first day of normal operation in the New Year.

We have redesigned our index page to make it easier to use and clearer to see a larger selection of its services at a glance. In addition, our content is now available in German and Spanish.

Hours of operation for late October and early November
The Library is closed on October 31 and on November 1. In addition, we would like to call the attention of our patrons to the following information regarding the hours of operation for November 4 and 5.
November 4, Friday: The Library’s Main Reading Room is open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Archives of the Academy and the Special Collections close at 4:00 p.m.

Maney trial access
The Library has been granted trial access to the e-journal collection of Maney Publishing until January 10, 2012.

The Kaufmann Genizahs on the Internet
As a result of the cooperation between the Library's Oriental Collection and the Friedberg Genizah Project, the genizahs of the Kaufmann Collection are now available in a single database at the redesigned home page of the Friedberg Genizah Project.

Scopus is now available at the Library
Until December 31, 2012, the Library offers access to Elsevier's electronic database, SciVerse Scopus.

Hours of operation for the upcoming summer holiday
The Library will be closed from July 16 to August 14, 2011. In addition, we would like to call the attention of our patrons to the following information regarding the opening hours before and after the closure.
Between July 11 and 15, 2011, the Library’s Main Reading Room will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Stacks service will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Digital Reading Room will be closed.
