The Library and Information Centre of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences offers its registered users access to more than 10,000 e-journals in full text. Our collection includes
electronic versions of the print journals subscribed to by the Library;
electronic databases of full-text journals subscribed to by the Library (e.g. EBSCO, JSTOR, Periodicals Index Online, Project MUSE, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, Web of Science, etc.);
online journals available free of charge on the internet.
Full-text e-journals can be accessed from within the IP-range of the Library and Information Centre. Patrons using their own portable computers will be able to connect to all subscription-based databases via the wireless access points (WAPs) deployed in the Library. Articles can be either printed or sent to personal e-mail accounts.
Access to e-journals is regulated by license agreements that the Library signed with the individual e-service providers. To comply with the rules of use is of common interest and mandatory to all.
